First Street Reports on Climate Risks for Long Island Communities

First Street is a private, commerical business that “leverage[s] the most advanced climate science and engineering approaches to quantify and communicate the risk for every property in the world.” While it only allows full use of its data to those pay for it–whether developers, property owners, media, governments, or research organizations–it advertises its wares by posting mapped images of its data online for many communities.

Below are links to First Street reports for select Long Island communities. Each includes maps of “operational risk for today and in 30 years” for many if not all properties within that community for these climate risks:

  • Flood Factors (from (from tides, coastal surges, rains, and/or rivers)
